2006 Gelding, by DeLaurentis/Deniro and out of FeinStar/Feinbrand. Registered American Hanoverian Society. Large star, LH white pastern and RH white pastern. Measures 16.3H

BACKGROUND:Danny's current owner purchased him a year ago with the hopes that Danny would make a suitable AA mount that could advance into the upper levels of eventing. Danny has been a wonderful horse for his owner, but he is just not going to be able to make the time needed in the cross country phase of eventing. He is a dream in dressage and show jumping and has taught a lot to his owner. The decision to sell Danny did not come lightly as he has a super disposition and is easy to bond with. Danny has only ever has one other owner and they, too, were very attached!!! At the age of 8, Danny has very low mileage on his legs and has a history of exceptional health. He does not have a show record but he has had extensive exposure to off-farm outings, ie: lessons, clinics, cross country schooling, etc.

CURRENTLY:Danny arrived to Thornridge in September 2014 to get trained and marketed for sale. The expression in his gaits have been easy to develop and he always answers positively to the questions asked of him. He gets lighter and more uphill in every ride and shows great potential to continue developing thru the levels of dressage. Coupled with an amazing brain, he certainly has FEI potential. He has started single changes and they are lovely -- we will continue posting video snippets of his progress. He should be able to start competing 3rd lvl, with ease, in a short period of time. We primarily ride Danny in a snaffle but he has been introduced to a double bridle and accepted it very well!!! Danny is incredibly sweet and easy to handle: trailering, crossties, stall manners, field manners, clipping, all of the above. He does not have a bad bone in him. Because he is so pleasant, Danny is completely suitable for the AA or the JR/YR. He has the talent to take any rider into the competitive show ring and he has all the potential to continue advancing thru the levels of dressage. He also enjoys, poles, jumping, and a grand hack outside!!!
