SOCORA ( Sempatico x Turkoman’s Nancy)

2005, 16.2H, mare, skewbald dk brown. Registered Oldenburg Horse Breeders’ Society.

Socora was bred in Illinois and then purchased by a Marylander as a weanling. She has been handled extensively during this time and could be described as a golden retriever of the horse world. She is a very resilient horse and settles immediately into new environments. She has been at several boarding farms and adjusts readily to field and/or full stall care.

Socora was broken in the early winter of 2008 and is currently solid in her training level dressage and is schooling first level. Her natural uphill neck set is wonderful for a future in dressage. She has been trail ridden extensively and is not at all spooky, but rather quite brave. She is familiar with water crossings, too. Socora has also been exposed to small jumps both in a ring and out cross country. Her easy going confidence lends her to a career in eventing or hunters.

Socora has a solid build with feminine points which makes her a beautiful type. Her gaits are well above average and show natural suspension wile still being comfortable to sit. If you are seeking a quiet, well rounded and talented partner, Socora is a must see. At this price, we will be selective in her placement.
